Position 1 - Home-based Tuition Coordinator

Main Role

As a home-based tuition coordinator at EdustarAsia Tuition Services, your primary responsibility will be to assist us in receiving, managing, and finalizing tuition assignments. You won't be expected to actively search for new clients, but instead, handle all incoming tutor requests that are received through our website or phone calls. Additionally, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

Specific Duties

Your specific duties as a home-based tuition coordinator will include:
1. Call and liaise with parents to find out their requirements.
2. Shortlisting tutors from database and coordinating with clients and tutors to negotiate and finalise terms for tuition assignments.
3. Offer administrative support by tracking payment status, and providing customer service to parents and tutors who require assistance.
4. Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate records are maintained.
5. Following up with both clients and tutors to ensure their satisfaction with the assignment.
6. Communicating regularly with the EdustarAsia team to provide updates on assignments and resolve any issues that arise.

Qualifications

Here are the qualifications we are looking for in a home-based tuition coordinator:
• Effectively bilingual, with a preference for English and Mandarin
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software. Equipped with your own laptop.
• Availability is crucial, with priority given to individuals who stay at home for most of the day, such as housewives or the unemployed
• Responsible, responsive, customer-oriented and self-motivated
• Able to work flexible hours as the position is home-based.

Remuneration

You will receive a commission of 15% of the agent's fee for each assignment you close. For example, if the assignment pays $400/month and the agent's fee is $200, you will earn $30. If you're able to close two deals in an hour, you'll earn $60.
